Ruby is the exiled princess of the Scarlet Kingdom and the only person confirmed to see Pure Blood Crystals implanted inside Blood Recipients. Her revenge quest drives Rubinite's linear boss-rush structure: pick the next Blood Recipient from the hub map, duel in a pixel-art arena, absorb Pure Blood powers on victory, and craft Talismans before the next fight. Roy saved Ruby after the Scarlet Kingdom fell and trains her between battles. He handles combat tutorials in the demo and appears to manage cooking at the hideout while Wichiwi runs research. Wichiwi is the lizardman merchant who converts Blood Dust into Talismans and extra perk slots — the primary progression vendor.
